NEXT-GENERATION LEADERSHIP
Young Building Professionals
A place for the next generation to get involved.
Industry contextThe council
FHBA established the Young Building Professionals Council to help attract and retain young talent in construction and related trades. Its focus includes peer connections, professional development, and involvement across the association federation.
A real 2026 activity
The council’s published program listed Young Building Professionals Day for July 29, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, alongside SEBC. It created an opportunity for emerging professionals to connect with peers and industry leaders.
Continued engagement
The council’s work encourages participation beyond a single event, helping younger professionals find a place in the association community.
Participation
YP Day 2026 is a past event. This website does not accept council applications or event bookings. A paid membership level does not automatically confer a council seat or leadership role.
